Welcome to awaken your body, to listen deeply and to meet yourself.

Welcome to curiously explore your inner and outer nature, their liquid edges, and to tap into the flow within.

Welcome to be in awe of the Web of Life that we will be weaving through movement, breath and deep rest.

Breathworker, yoga teacher Sanni Parkkinen and dance artist, yoga teacher Anna Thu Schmidt join forces, and invite you to a journey through your inner landscape.

The retreat is a unique combination of yoga, breathwork, dance improvisation, Shake the Dust, and sound journey. The varied weekend program ensures that you leave recharged, grounded and inspired!

On this retreat we do very practical nervous system work. Principles of resourcing, orienting, yielding and softness will function as the foundation of our movement and breathwork practices. Elements of nature will be our guides. Some theory is included, focus is on practice.

We do not practice from the need to do more. We allow more. More life, more softness, more strength, more presence, more stillness, more flow. More healthy range to be HONEST with yourself.

Unfiltered, unmasked, unedited, fully alive. Authentic. Feeling all of it. Life’s full spectrum. And at the same time leaning onto such stable and nourishing support that all of it will not be too much. We will be moving through landscapes, themes, ideas, and the real felt sense of what life tastes like. Movement becomes your language, breath becomes your teacher.

The way you move is the way you move through life. The way you breathe often carries invaluable lessons about your relationship with yourself. When we meet ourselves at this sacred intersection of movement and breath, an effortless reorganisation starts to take place. Things move through and fall into place. Tensions are softened. Resistance melts away. We can rest deeply. Not because we need it, but because it is part of our nature.

And so we travel. So we travel back to the truth. Back to presence. Back to the body.

To sum it up: Elemental Flow Retreat is a celebration of life-affirming practices: yoga, breathwork, dance and somatics. Every day has a theme, every practice has a purpose. Aliveness is a big one. Awakening the body to effortlessly flow through the stream of life. There will be lots of calm practices in addition to the ones that are more active, awakening.

A charming historical site on Tautra island welcomes you to explore your inner and outer nature. Indoor yoga and breathwork classes will be at Tautratun samfunnshus, a short walk from Klostergården. If weather allows, dance workshops will be held outside to deepen the nature connection.

Klostergården has much space to retreat and spend time alone during the free time.

To arrive, you can take a train to Åsen. From Åsen there is a bus to Frosta. We can arrange a pick-up from Frosta. Most likely there are cars driving from and back to Trondheim, so sharing would be possible!

Klostergården Tautra, Klostergårdsvegen 92, 7633 Frosta, Norway

Cost & Registration

NOK 5750
The cost includes retreat program, accommodation & food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at Klostergården Tautra. The cost (for locals) without food and accommodation is NOK 2500. Food can in that case be bought separately.
