In How to read water #4 dance artist Anna Thu Schmidt, musician Thea Ellingsen Grant, VJ Mina Paasche and visual artist Hanne Dahl Geving create a multidisciplinary performance experience, a timeless, meditative space in the gallery space. Each artist explores within their own field how the sea resonates in us and translates the connection one feels to the ocean, to a connection between performer and audience.

How to read water # 4 was presented as a long-durational dance installation at Heimdal Kunstforening on 28th and 29th of May 2022 as part of Meta.Morf 2022 - Ecophilia, Trondheim International biennale for art and technology. During the performance, the audience was invited to move freely in the space and interact with the performers and the installation as much as they liked.
