Echos Between Us
Come as you are to this interactive sound and movement journey, where ImproDans Trondheim and Musician Joel Hynsjö invite you to play and express yourself. In the space between stillness and chaos, we find connections and the Echoes Between Us. Come and go as you wish and participate as much as you like. Sit in stillness or follow the flow.
ImproDans Trondheim wants to offer an open and safe space for movement and sound exploration and a platform for site-specific and inter-artistic performances based on improvisation. With this performance they facilitate an experience open to everyone by creating a playful and open space for and with the audience in collaboration with Hynsjö.
Joel Hynsjö brings his newly developed Hybrid-Darabuka instrument, exploring the boundaries between intuition, improvisation, the static and the unpredictable. Through suggestive, repetitive rhythms and expansive soundscapes, the audience is invited to enjoy the long movements of the music, and at the same time let themselves be drawn into the smallest variations.
The performance is part of the Multiplié Dance Festival 2026 presented by DansiT
