WELCOME to the third CONTACT IMPRO FESTIVAL TRONDHEIM by ImproDans Trondheim - a place to connect and to inspire!
Join us for a weekend dedicated to contact improvisation full of workshops, jams, and performances! The festival is open to everyone curious about contact improvisation - from beginners to experienced CI practitioners. If you love moving, dancing, and improvising together with others this is the right place for you!
We aim to create another magical small-scale festival at DansiT to celebrate connection and community through contact improvisation. With the CI festival, ImproDans Trondheim wishes to offer a platform for knowledge exchange and a safe space to explore movements in contact with each other.
This year we are looking forward to workshops by Katrine Kirsebom, Johanne Hofseth & Vemund Skulberg, Ingeborg Dugstad Sanders, Mari Angell-Petersen Grønnesby and Anna Thu Schmidt, open stage with PRAXIS Trondheim, open jams with live music by Alex Ventling and Ecstatic Dance with DJ Hi-Lo!
FESTIVAL TICKETS
Festival ticket: 2000-3500 NOK (including all workshops, snacks and warm lunch) We offer a sliding scale ticket system that allows you to pay according to your financial situation. By paying more you make it possible for others to pay less:)
NB: There is a limited amount of festival tickets available!
Booking just parts of the festival is only possible at a later point when the festival tickets are not sold out.
*Contakids tickets are possible to purchase seperately.
** The Water Contact Jam takes place at Pirbadet. We will be in a private pool. Only 20 spots available. Pre-registration is required.

ImproStunt at Havet
We celebrated the last day of the first Contact Impro Festival in 2023 with an ImproStunt at Havet. Amazing movers improvised together with musician Matilda Rolfsson and Are Lothe Kolbeinsen.

Thankful for all the wonderful connections and inspiring dances during the festival! Tusen takk to everyone joining the festival and for creating such a beautiful space full of dance, love and laughter together. Special thanks to an amazing team of teachers Mari, Kristina, Ann Kristin, Alessandro, Mario and Ingeborg and Ingeborg for sharing their passion for CI with the community in Trondheim.
