WELCOME to the very first CONTACT IMPRO FESTIVAL TRONDHEIM 6-8th of October 2023 by ImproDans Trondheim
Get ready for a weekend dedicated to contact improvisation full of workshops, sharings, JAMs and performances by international, national and local dance artists and movement practitioners.
The festival is open to everyone curious in contact improvisation and to experienced CI practitioners. If you love moving, dancing and improvising together with others this is the right place for you! Previous dance experience is not required.
With the CI festival ImproDans Trondheim wishes to offer a platform for knowledge exchange and a safe space to explore movements in physical contact with each other - a place to connect and to inspire.

ImproStunt at Havet
We celebrated the last day of the Contact Impro Festival with an ImproStunt at Havet. Amazing movers improvised together with musician Matilda Rolfsson and Are Lothe Kolbeinsen.

Thankful for all the wonderful connections and inspiring dances during the festival! Tusen takk to everyone joining the festival and for creating such a beautiful space full of dance, love and laughter together. Special thanks to an amazing team of teachers Mari, Kristina, Ann Kristin, Alessandro, Mario and Ingeborg and Ingeborg for sharing their passion for CI with the community in Trondheim. Thanks to Alex Ventling for the perfect soundscape during the opening Jam and thanks to everyone sharing their artistic work or offering scores during the Open Stage.
